To enjoy the Pastis De Marseille to its fullest, it’s recommended to mix it with water in a ratio of 1:5 - 1 part Pastis to 5 parts water. The beverage should be served chilled, and can be consumed as an aperitif before meals. Pour the Pastis first, then add the water to enjoy the beautiful clouding effect that is characteristic of this drink. For a twist, add a couple of ice cubes or a slice of lemon.

The versatile Pastis De Marseille can be used in several ways. It makes an excellent 'Mauresque Cooler', a cocktail made with Pastis, almond syrup, and water. It can also be used to create a 'Perroquet', a refreshing combination of Pastis, mint syrup, and water.
