Our Redman Ceylonese Cinnamon Powder is a premium grade product from Sri Lanka. It is made from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum Verum tree and is tan-brown in colour. Its delicate and slightly sweet flavour makes it suitable for desserts. Store in a cool, dry place. THis product is free from dye and preservatives.
How to UseCinnamon powder has many uses which includes seasoning and flavouring sweet and savoury dishes. It can be used in dishes requiring Chinese five-spice powder, added to beef noodle soup bases or used for braising meat. Cinnamon powder is also commonly used in pies like pumpkin or apple pies, oatmeal and raisin cookies or banana breads.
