The Apiary’s Hillside Honey is harvested in the pristine natural surroundings of Rwanda. Their selection of honey does not undergo heat or UV light treatment and no artificial methods of colony enhancement is used in the process. The Apiary is a social enterprise committed to poverty alleviation for Rwandan beekeepers and their communities. They work towards the sustainable development of Rwanda's tradition of apiculture and take pride in ensuring high standards of beekeeping practice within the community.
